What is included with my hair appointment?
If you’re booking a haircut, you will receive a wash, haircut and blow dry style. For color appointments, you will receive a color service and a wash. You must book a haircut or blow dry in addition to your color service.
How can I tip my stylist?
Our salon employees accept tips separately from the payment for your services. You can tip your stylist directly using cash or through Venmo. If you see an independent contractor, you may add a tip to your normal form of payment.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. The salon also accepts Apple Pay, however some independent sytlists may not have this feature. Be sure to check with them ahead of time if you plan to use Apple Pay.
Do you have gift cards?
Yes! When purchasing a gift card, be sure you let the front desk know if you’d like the gift card to be with a particular stylist. If it’s with a salon employee, you may purchase with the front desk. If you’d like to have the gift card be with an independent stylist, you will have to purchase through that stylist directly.
What does Independent Stylist/ Contractor mean?
Salon DeLange staffs both salon employees and independent contractors. An independent contractor is a stylist who rents a station from Salon DeLange, but handles all their own monetary transactions. Salon front desk can help with all scheduling and retail items, but you will pay your independent contractor directly for your services rather than the front desk.
Do you accept returns for products?
Our distributors do not allow us to return items, therefore we are not able to accept returns on purchased retail products.
Is there a fee to cancel my appointment?
In order to provide all of our clients with the best service, we will be enforcing our 24 hour cancellation policy, effective immediately. Due to their high demand, our stylists’ time is very valuable and finding another appointment can be difficult. Cancelling at the last minute, may result in the need to be placed on a waitlist.
We understand emergencies happen, and we kindly offer free cancellations made up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment will be charged 50% of your scheduled service fee. This includes missed appointments or no shows.
Please also be advised, if you are late for an appointment, your stylist may not be able to perform all services originally scheduled. We book appointments back to back with little room for tardiness.
